Now it is possible to prepare a site
for DTS by using the new, web-based Deployment Tools.
These Tools (or Modules) are used to organize initial site setup data,
validate the data and submit the data to DTS. This new method reduces
significantly the time and paperwork that used to be necessary to
prepare a site for entry into DTS.
The DTS Deployment Tools contain four modules:
Self-Registration
module where all users of DTS enter their profile data.
This is the first step for all users of DTS
Site Setup Administration
module where the Site Setup Official (a Service/Agency
Representative with org access) begins the site setup
process by designating or creating the site, the root
organization(s) and the Lead DTA
Site Setup Interview
and Edit module where the lead and organizational
DTAs continue the setup process by establishing sub-organizations,
Routing List Officials, routing lists, groups and LOAs
for the site
Self-Registration
Administration module where designated administrators
approve and accept new travelers and users into DTS |
