Authorizing Official and Debt Management Monitor (DMM) are also
responsible for informing and advising the traveler.
DoD regulations provide a DTS traveler options to request and
appeal a waiver of debt using formal DoD processes and procedures,
if the debt was not incurred as a result of a non-ATM
advance before a trip cancellation.
This Waiver/Appeal process is begun by contacting the official
designated as the DMM in your organization or sub-organization.
