Each organization determines the permission level that a DTA must have in order to run each report. The DTA selects the type of report, defines the parameters, and then submits the request. DTS then creates the report offline, independent of the userís DTS session. The DTS Report Scheduler generates the requested reports and notifies the requestor by e-mail when the report is complete.
NOTE: Certain reports that were available in older versions of DTS are being retired. Others have been enhanced and are now accessible through the Report Scheduler. For convenience, these older report types are available for a limited time (through mid-September 2006); however users are encouraged to use the Report Scheduler whenever possible. Authorized users can create Budget Reports through the Budget module of DTS. Budgets are covered in the FDTA Budget section.
